Instructor Profile:

Daniel Gardner is the founder and president of Trade Facilitators, Inc., a Los Angeles-based supply chain consulting and training firm. Prior to founding TFI in 2007, Mr. Gardner spent 23 years in the third party logistics field where he held senior level positions with firms that include Exel Global Logistics and DHL Global Forwarding.

In addition to his professional experience, Mr. Gardner is an active adjunct professor of logistics and supply chain management at California State University Long Beach, Georgia Tech and Lehigh University. In 2002, he was recognized as the “Best Professor” in the Masters of International Business Program at Florida International University and in 2013 was chosen as the “Top Instructor” at the Center for International Trade & Transportation at Cal State Long Beach.

A native of Lynn, MA, Mr. Gardner holds an MBA from the University of Miami, is a licensed U.S. Customs Broker, has been certified by APICS in production and inventory management and is a Black Belt in Six Sigma. During his career, he has travelled to more than 40 countries, having lived in Colombia and Mexico for five years.
