- This test is used to determine the resistance of paper and paperboard to fungal (mold) growth.
- This is an industry recognized test for determining the effectiveness of a mold-proofing treatment on/in the paper or paperboard.
- This test method provides a standard method for classifying in which paper or paperboard is classified as fungus resistant or mold-proofed.
- If the test specimens show growth of any of the test organisms after 7 days incubation, discontinue the test and report the sample as not fungus-resistant.
